Buku ini sangat unik. Unik dalam årti harfiah: tidak ada duanya. Inilah suatu kenyataan yang cukup mengherankan: pencak silat sering disebut-sebut dalam berbagai konteks, bahkan sebuah jenis kesusasteraan khusus dan satu kategori* filem menceritakan kisah kapahlawanan para pendekarnya.
